Artisian Decor

We began by making one table, badly, four times.
The fifth was right, and it taught us the only method we have used since: draw at full scale, prototype in the real material, and live with the piece in the workshop before anyone else has to live with it at home.
Today Artisian Decor works with architects, interior designers and private clients across residences, hospitality interiors and private studies — always on commission, never from stock.
Principles
Proportion before decoration
A piece is resolved when nothing further can be removed from it. Ornament is what we reach for last, if at all.
One roof
Joinery, upholstery and stone work happen in the same building, so a change in one discipline is answered the same afternoon in another.
Made to age
Oils rather than lacquers, bark tanning rather than pigment, undyed textiles rather than fast colour. The work is meant to be repaired, not replaced.
