Design story
Cut from one block of Roman travertine, Vela's base curves like a drawn curtain. The top is honed to catch raking light and hold a single object well.
Design philosophy
Stone should be cut once. Vela is drawn so that every curve can be worked from a single block, leaving the vein of the travertine running unbroken from floor to top.
